On 28th February 2019, Pre-Primary I class celebrated birthdays of 8 students and 1 staff
member in School premises. The celebrations commenced at 10:30am and lasted
till 12:30 pm.
This month, the focus was
to review all the topics covered during the year by conducting a quiz
contest. On the basis of the theme ‘Sarathi’, general awareness questions were
set as per the ability of the students. Selected
students from Primary I to vocational classes participated in this contest.
Four
groups with five students and one teacher in each group, were formed, named as
Ristey (relationships), Tyohar (festivals), Manoranjan(entertainment) and
Prarthana(worship). Rekha , Sarika, Charu and Rupali were the teachers in
charge in each group. Only selected manageable students were in the audience.
Twenty seconds were given to them to answer each question of ten marks each.
There were five rounds that consisted of
questions based on general knowledge, school information and recreation. Some
questions like for example “Naming some types of relationships, naming of some
festivals celebrated in India, etc….. The winners were selecting on their
points gained during the quiz contest.
“The aim was to develop
confidence, knowledge and discipline in students through QUIZ."
Final declaration of winners and runner ups was done by Mrs. Sukanya Teacher. Party was concluded with prize distribution, followed by a party dance. Cake was distributed to all during lunch time.

Greeting cards and
gifts were given to birthday students and Laxman sir immediately after the
Aukshan with the help of Pre-primary I class students.
At
3:00 pm children were served with bread roll. All members enjoyed the celebration.
