On Children’s day, there was celebration at our school, which was sponsored by Amway India. An amount of Rs 50k was received for the expenses of the event.
Since the school was closed for Diwali Holidays, Parents of the students took full responsibility of training the children for the event. They even hired the costumes for the event. Our special children get extra active when they are dressed in these costumes and give their best performance. The theme was Sanskriti and the culture of India was depicted through various performances. They were dressed as saints, national leaders, different nationalities etc. They did solo performance, some danced on skates, some did folk dance but every performance revolved around the culture of India.
It was interesting to watch them perform without any hesitation.
One impressive performance was by our
student Aryan Paradkar, dressed up as Potraj.
Potraj was the street performers and
devotees of goddess Maraai. They are normally seen on the streets of
Maharastra. They whip themselves on their bare back and collect money from
people.

Commissioner of Police Crime, Navi Mumbai, Shri Tushar Doshi. Also present were
Shri Vijay Golani Senior Vice President and Regional head West, Amway India. Mr Ashish Vaidya-Regional
Corporate Affairs Manager West and South. Many of the Distributors of Amway were
