Dandiya Programme was celebrated on 13th
October at “Kairali Hall” between 5.00 and 8.30 pm. The event began with
small warm up round after the Aarti. Students, Parents and teachers all participated in the Aarti.
The students and Parents came dressed in colourful traditional costumes, and the floor rocked with their energetic performances. Students were divided into groups according to their ability. Each group
performed dandiya dance. In every group three prizes were given for best dancer,
best costume and nonstop dancer. In the parents group best couple prize was
also given. More than 275 participants which included students with their
siblings and parents participated in the programme and enjoyed thoroughly.
At the end of the event prizes were given to the winners. The Principal Mrs. Sukanya thanked
the judges and parents for their wholehearted participation. The judges expressed their appreciation and found it difficult to select the best dancers.
