A Theatre Workshop was organised for the teachers of SBP on 14th September in the school premises. Mr. Shivdas Ghodke from National School of Drama conducted the workshop for the staff.
Many activities to develop listening, following instructions, voice modulation, mirroring, expressions, working in a team, leadership skills were carried out by him. The staff members participated very enthusiastically exploring the child within. The activities with bamboo sticks to trigger imagination and coordination in a group was very well liked by all. The game with a long rope to create waves and other patterns will help reduce hyperactivity in a child, Walking on the rope forward, Backward and balancing a book on head will help in building confidence, body balance and coordination.
The workshop was carried out to help teachers use these skills in their class rooms and make learning fun.
