Gandhi Jayanthi celebrated by creating awareness on Deaddiction

Street play on vyasan mukti

On 2^nd October on the  occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti,  the Social Welfare Department Thane Jilla displayed  a skit on Deaddiction. The District Social Welfare Officer of the Social Welfare Department, Thane Jillah instructed all the schools falling under Thane jilla to conduct similar skits to bring about awareness regarding Vyasan Mukti. On 14^th October 2016, the staff members of Swami Brahamanand Pratishthan School and few selected students together conducted a street play to create awareness about De addiction( VYASAN MUKTI).This street play included 15 staff members and 6 students.

The area nearby school was selected for the play. Through this play the participants brought to light the ill effects of falling prey to various vices. The diseases and health problems caused by these vices were displayed.

There was  a very good response from the audience for the play.
