Eco friendly Diwali Celebration

Diwali  was celebrated in a unique and innovative way. Class wise competitions of Rangoli and Lantern making was organized.  The teachers along with the students  made rangolis and lanterns out of waste and eco friendly material like coconut shells, coir, shells, old cd's, leaves, petals,shells, screws etc. Beautiful designs were made by the students. Judging was  based on three criteria: creativity, maximum participation by the students and best out of waste. Mrs. Shevade who judged the competition was surprised at the best use made out of waste as well as the creativity in the students. She was happy and found it difficult to judge the best entry.
