On
the morning of 16th March 2019 a trekking event was organised for the students,
parents , siblings and staff of Swami Brahmanand Prathishthan School which was
sponsored by K Satish, a professional marathon runner. He is the well wisher of our school. Lately he introduced Tashi Bhutua, (the Pinkathon ambassador) to our school.
They organised a trek for our special children and their parents one Sunday morning and this is what Tashi Bhutua had to say.
Had the most beautiful morning today spending time with the lovely children of Swami Brahmanand school for Special children. My close friend and good Samaritan Satish has been supporting this school for more than 10 years now and feels very strongly for these beautiful children. Time and again he keeps telling us about his kids and the things he wants to do for them. He wanted to plan an outing for them and today we had the privilege to help and support him put together this lovely walk and picnic at Khargar Hills for the children, their parents and the wonderful school Principal and teachers.
All of us ended up having a blast !!! After the uphill walk, my friend Rakhi took a lovely yoga and meditation session for them to some soothing music . After that everyone enjoyed shaking their legs to some foot tapping Bollywood music . Post that, we had refreshments- soft fluffy idli-chutney, flavoured milk, chiki and chocolates.
The children so sportingly completed a total 4 km walk up and down the hills looking absolutely fabulous in the bright red and yellow caps which Satish had arranged for them . It was lovely to see the parents too enjoy themselves along with the children. This was my first experience spending time with these children and I loved every moment of it❤. Such joyful children and my heart was filled with so much respect and love for the parents and teachers of these children who handle and care for them with so much love and care.❤🙏.
A 22 year old girl Snehal especially stole my heart with her endless chatter and cute charm. She couldn't stop gushing over how big a Priyanka Chopra fan she was and her favorite movie "Barfi"❤ , breaking into the song "Itni is Khushi...." from the film time and again🤗. I also got to speak to the mothers and tell them about Pinkathon and importance of women taking out time for themselves for their health and fitness . Many were excited to know about Pinkathon and to be part of it.
Was a most fulfilling and happy morning filled with love and positivity❤😊. Thank you Satish for making us a part of this and respect you for your selfless service 🙏. I am so proud to be your friend ❤ @ Kharghar Hills
We would like to thank M. Satish, Tashi Bhutua and other Volunteers for organising such a event for our school. Our children too enjoyed a lot
