From 3rd December to 7th December, disability week was celebrated in the school. Rally was organized in which many students participated. Students also participated in ability competitions which was organized by skill and ability school at Nerul. Different activities were organized such as drawing, painting, craft, rangoli making, computer based activities, etc. many children took part in competitions. 13 year old Karishma won the first prize by designing a greeting card on computer, 16 year old, Aditi, won the first prize in rangoli making, 16 year old Siddharth won the third prize in solving puzzles.
On 3rd December, Twenty five of our students took part in sports meet organized by Thane Zilla Parishad and Rotary Club of Dombili. They came back with 5 gold medals, 11 silver medals, and 4 bronze medals.
Amway , under the banner of ‘Sunshine Foundation’, organized children’s day on 3rd December 2010. During the celebration, they donated the vocational equipments to the tune of Rs55,000 which included sewing machine, paper cutter, sealing machine, cupboard, grinding machine, food weighing machine, screen printing, etc. They also fun fair that included tattoo making, magic show and many games. Snacks were also provided.
