Community Coaching Training Program

On 27th January a community coaching camp was held at SBP on behalf of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, Scheme of Sports and games for the disabled, by the Master Trainer Mr. Sarang Rathod (Sports Instructor of SBP), Mr. Balaji Kamble and Ms. Manasi Sawant. The Participants consisted of Special Educators from the Special Schools of Navi Mumbai and Raigad District, Physiotherapists and sports Instructors of special schools.

Information regarding Special Olympics - sports activities for the disability sector was imparted to the participants. Hands on experience was also given to the participants. Practical demonstration of games like Bocce Ball, Shot Put, Running Long Jump, Standing Long Jump,

Badminton & Table Tennis were taken up by the Master Trainers.
