Maharashtra State Government declared 7th November 2017 as Vidyarti Diwas. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar got admission in to school on 7th November 1900 at Satara. This day has been marked as Vidhyarti Diwas. Various programs were conducted at school on 7th Nov. A drawing competition on the topic"My School", Rangoli competition and speech by students on Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. The teachers also spoke to the studetns about the life history of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar
