Sachin suffers from Cerebral palsy with mental Retardation. He is attending the Sweekar Centre at Uran. When he first attended School at the age of 17 he was dependent for all his personal skills like eating, Toileting, dressing. Sachin was highly motivated. The training program planned for him and sincere efforts of Sachin and his Teacher helped him become independent to a great extent in all the personal skills. He needs minimum supervision. He is at present also learning Vocational Skills like making wicks for the lamp. Since he has good memory he counts agarbatti sticks and keeps them ready for packing. He enjoys coming to School and is regular. He belongs to the low income group. His mother is the only earning member and earns around Rs. 4000/- per month.
